Adjoa Andoh and Felicity Kendal attend The King's Trust Carol Concert
Celebrities including actors Felicity Kendal CBE and Bridgerton's Adjoa Andoh joined the annual King's Trust Carol Concert on Monday evening (9 December) in the historic St Paul's Church in Knightsbridge.
Both Adjoa and Felicity gave readings at the service and, speaking exclusively to Good Housekeeping about the night, Felicity said it had been "such an honour to be a part of The King's Trust Carol Concert this year." She added that "the atmosphere at St Paul's Church was truly special," and that it had also been "incredible to see the impact The King's Trust has on young people's lives."
The King's Trust (formerly The Prince's Trust), hosted this year's Carol Concert in partnership with Cunard, and it was the trust's first since rebranding under its new name.
Guests of the special service were treated to carols from London Youth Choirs and the Choir of St Paul’s Knightsbridge, alongside inspirational readings from celebrities, while Freya Ridings performed her single ‘Lost Without You’ as well as the Christmas classic, ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’. Saxophonist Sophie Hurst, who has been supported by The King's Trust, also led a Christmas melody at the historic venue.
The King’s Trust’s mission is to empower young people by helping those from disadvantaged communities and those facing the greatest adversity and supporting them to build the confidence and skills to live, learn and earn. This includes courses for young people aged 11 to 30.
