Want to become a member of the millennial supermodel set?
You’ll need super retro sunnies, clompy dad trainers and according to Paris Fashion Week, a handbag so small you’ll have a tough time fitting anything in it.
On Monday (February 25), Jacquemus took last year’s noughties trend to a gram-worthy peak with models walking the runway clutching micro bags on the crook of their fingers.
Measuring just 10cm x 8cm, French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus zapped the brand’s iconic Le Sac Chiquito handbag under a microscopic lens for blink-and-you’ll-miss-it results.
The arm candy was dished out to editors far and wide by way of an invitation to the AW19 presentation so it’s likely to launch online very soon for those of you desperate to invest.
If you can’t wait to bag Instagram likes, the luxury brand is currently flogging two other micro bags online with prices kick-starting at an eye-watering £365.
But the £379 ‘Le Piccolo‘ comes with a cross-body chain so that’s a little more bang for your buck, huh?
Though this isn’t the first time Jacquemus has inspired a rather fashionable social media phenomenon.
After launching Le chapeau Bomba for SS18 – a 60cm wide straw hat – the likes of supers Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski took to Instagram to showcase the must-have accessory.
One thing’s for certain, Jacquemus sure doesn’t do boring.
