Summer solstice is here, and life is feeling a bit more laidback. Yet, the watch industry is a bit like New York—the city, or in this case the industry, that never sleeps. New releases continue to roll out each week, and the latest watches seem to fully embrace the season: they’re playful, colorful, and truly one-of-a-kind thanks to some piece uniques and limited editions. As you break out your favorite linen slacks and sandals, maybe it’s time to complete the look with some new wrist candy. If you need some inspiration, these are nine of the best new watches to drop in June.

Breitling Superocean Rainbow
Nothing screams summer more than a brightly colored rainbow dive watch and Breitling is here to deliver with two new iterations of its iconic Superocean. The latest editions are available in two proportions, either 42mm or 36mm. While these models are perfect for the season, they remain rooted in history, drawing inspiration from the Superocean Slow Motion of the 1960s and 1970s, which simplified the dive watch into its most essential elements: a bold, high-contrast minute scale on the dial ring, chunky luminescent baton indexes and “paddle” hands for easy readability, and the innovative removal of the seconds hand, replaced by a minutes-based chronograph.
Carl F. Bucherer Manero Flyback
Carl. F. Bucherer has spent the last year reimaging and refining its core collections with a specific focus on its beloved Manero. This month, we got three new additions to the lineup: the Manero Urban, Manero Peripheral, and the Manero Flyback. Of the three, the flyback is the perfect sporty watch for summer, available in both 40mm and 43mm. Each size is offered in a slew of style options, from stainless steel to rose gold and with the choice of a bracelet or strap in either calf leather or vegan textile. You also get a number of dial colors including classics—silver, blue, and black—as well as a gorgeous blue-gray that’s a subtle yet beautiful pop of color for summer.
Chopard L.U.C XPS 1860 Officer Vendôme One
This summer, Chopard celebrates the reopening of its Paris hotel with an exclusive timepiece: the L.U.C XPS 1860 Officer Vendôme One. This limited edition of just eight pieces features an absolutely stunning blue guilloche dial as well as an officer-type caseback with a hinged cover engraved with the same honeycomb pattern that’s core to the L.U.C. DNA. When the crown is pressed to release the hinged cover concealing its sapphire caseback, you not only get a view of the self-winding L.U.C 96.01-L caliber but also a hand-engraving of the Sun, a symbol of Louis XIV who initiated the construction of Place Vendôme, which can still be seen on the square’s wrought ironwork.
Ulysse Nardin Diver NET Wempe Signature Collection
Obviously, the dive watch is the ultimate summer style, so what better time for Wempe and Ulysse Nardin to drop their latest boutique edition, limited to just 75 pieces. The model builds on the brand’s Diver NET collection with a combination of recycled materials including 95% recycled stainless steel, Nylo (a polyamide comprised of upcycled fishing nets), and Carbonium (made with offcuts from the aircraft manufacturing process, which reduces its environmental impact by 40% compared to other carbon composites). The overall design id quintessentially Ulysse Nardin, down to its bold and playful orange color scheme.
HYT Conical Tourbillon Infinity Diamonds
High level gem setting and technical prowess come together for this piece unique watch from HYT. The Conical Tourbillon Infinity Diamonds features a whopping 533 components and 575 diamonds for the perfect balance of function and form in a bold and fully blinged out timepiece. At the heart of the dial, you’ll find a conical tourbillon powered by HYT’s exclusive hydro-mechanical technology. Here, the tourbillon completes a full clockwise rotation every 30 seconds and is beautifully framed by three 64-facet diamonds set around the periphery. These diamonds rotate harmoniously at different speeds—the first completing four rotations per minute, the second five rotations per minute, and the third six rotations per minute—and give way to the snow-set ring containing the hour makers as well as the snow-set bezel.
De Bethune DB28XP Kind of Blue Tourbillon
The DB28XP Kind of Blue is the natural evolution of two iconic models from De Bethune: the DB28XP and the DB28 Kind of Blue. In typical De Bethune fashion, the model is all about depth and architecture achieved through color, texture, and design. The DB28XP Kind of Blue Tourbillon features a blue titanium build with a guilloche Microlight dial. Powering the model is the manually wound DB2115v12 caliber, equipped with the De Bethune balance wheel, which is visible through the dial thanks to the opening at six o’clock. The DB28XP Kind of Blue Tourbillon is a limited edition of just 20 pieces.
Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Armand “Mondo” Duplantis
You may not be familiar with the name Armand “Mondo” Duplantis, but as the summer Olympics are upon us, perhaps you should get to know him. Duplantis is the current World and Olympic Champion of pole vaulting and just ahead of the Paris Games, he broke the World Record for the eighth time in his career, setting a new height of 6.24 meters. Duplantis is also an Omega ambassador, and the brand’s latest collaborative model pays tribute to his achievements. The Aqua Terra celebrates Duplantis’ Swedish heritage with a blue and yellow color scheme reflecting the flag. In addition, the central seconds hand gets a unique pole vault inspired shape as a nod to the athlete.
Gerard Charles Maestro 9.0 Roman Tourbillon
Gerard Charles continues to the legacy of its founder, Gerald Genta with a limited edition version of its Maestro Tourbillon. Genta first launched the collection in 2005 and today, the line continues with his vision, drawing inspiration from Roman architecture from its unique case design to the choice of Roman numeral hour markers. The showpiece of the new limited edition is a hand-hammered rose gold dial framed by a two-tone bezel in blue titanium and stainless steel. Both of these unique details mark firsts for the brand. The watch is complete with its signature complication skeletonized cage in the shape of the GC logo.
Hublot Classic Fusion Essential Grey Volume III
If you need a more subdued style for summer, look no further than Hublot’s latest addition to its Essential Grey collection. For this year’s monochromatic installment, the brand has opted to give two iterations of its popular Classic Fusion the all-gray treatment. Both versions feature a titanium build, which perfectly lends itself to the uniform gray color palette. Here, you get the look and feel of the Classic Fusion you know and love with an integrated bracelet, satin-finished bezel with six screws, and a sunray finished dial with three central hands complemented by a discreet date window. However, you get the option of two sizes—either 42mm or 45mm—with the smaller size powered by the HUB1110 caliber and the larger size powered by the HUB1112 caliber.
