While I developed my sweater discernment through making them, another gauge of quality is the lived experience you can read in the reviews—and Amazon shoppers are brutally honest. One reviewer described the crewneck style as “perfectly knitted.” The material is “midweight,”  and the “quality and appearance” are comparable to styles “three times what this sweater cost.” Another shopper who was surprised by the quality said the sweater has “a well-defined cable pattern,” “not see-through,” and doesn’t pill or snag easily.
