22 Celebrities Who Champion LGBTQ+ Rights, From Elliot Page To Billy Porter
The LGBTQ+ - which stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (or questioning) and others - community has strong supporters in the world of Hollywood and beyond.
For decades, celebrities including Miley Cyrus, Jay-Z, Oprah Winfrey, Lady Gaga and Beyoncé have taken strong stands in supporting LGBTQ+ rights, whether its by supporting same-sex marriage or legislations regarding those who identify as transgender.
While some famous advocates identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community, others like actor Daniel Radcliffe and Kerry Washington have used their platforms to call our discrimination and injustices and champion equal rights for all.
