Police were forced to turn away shoppers after hundreds arrived at a B&Q store in Nottingham to collect their online orders.

The hardware store closed its shops during the country's coronavirus lockdown but reopened its online site.

The person recording the video, above, told Newsflare: "Police had to step in on Monday afternoon as queues of shoppers in their cars at a B&Q drive-thru began to block a main road.

"An employee told me that at one point the traffic prevented an ambulance getting through and it is then that the police were forced to intervene."
