BMW teases new Mini video
BMW has released the first teaser video of the new Mini Countryman.
The new car remains cloaked in a considerable amount of CGI camouflage, but there is enough of the profile on show to confirm that the Countryman is closely related to the Mini Beachcomber shown at Detroit last week.
The new Mini is expected to go on sale towards the end of the year. It will be the largest Mini yet at just over four metres long, and with four proper seats and five-door access, it should offer style-conscious families increased practicality over the current Clubman.
It seems increasingly likely the Countryman will be unveiled at Geneva in March, but for now the teaser video is as close as we come to the real thing.
