One of our favorite things about shopping at Aldi, is that the chain comes out with dozens of items each week, regardless of the time of year. These products are typically a mix of seasonal buys that have been available in years past, returning items that have been brought back for another go, and new products that the Aldi team is excited to debut.

With summer winding down, Aldi has revealed everything that will be in its stores through Aug. 15, which, let’s face it, is basically the end of the summer. From Vanilla Ice Cream Macarons to Carolina Style Barbecue Sauce, there are plenty of seasonal items worth getting your hands on, but you should snatch them up before it’s time to break out the apple cider and pumpkin spice everything.

Specially Selected Lemon Bars

There’s something about lemon bars that just screams summer. This tart treat is new to Aldi this year, and even boasts a dusting of powdered sugar to balance out that tangy lemon flavor. If you’re not a lemon fan, try the Specially Selected Butter Bars instead, which are similar to St. Louis gooey butter cake. Both versions are already garnering praise on TikTok.

Burman’s Carolina Style Barbecue Sauce

Burman’s BBQ sauce is back! The seasonal item has returned just in time for the end of grilling season. This tasty condiment actually comes in four different flavors—Carolina Style, Texas Style, Kansas City Style, and Memphis Style—but we’re partial to the Carolina variety. Described as “light and tangy”, this sauce is modeled after Carolina BBQ sauce, which has a vinegar and mustard base that gives it a zesty taste. Try it on beef or chicken. If you prefer a sweeter BBQ sauce, give the Kansas City one a whirl.

Grillo's Sandwich Maker Pickles

Pickle fans, rejoice! Grillo's is one of the tastiest pickle brands around, and you can find some of their products at Aldi. As you may have guessed, the brand’s Sandwich Maker Pickles are long cut and crisp, and are perfect for, well, sandwiches. Stack a slice or two on a Fancy Tomato Sandwich to make the most of your summer tomato haul.

Wahlburgers Uncured Beef Hot Dogs

Don’t say goodbye to summer without having a few hot dogs. Since Aldi has carried Wahlburgers products for a few years, the return of this item isn’t exactly a surprise, but it’s welcome nonetheless. These uncured beef hot dogs retail for about $4.99 for a pack of eight, and are made with beef that was raised in the U.S. with no antibiotics or added hormones. Since these dogs are minimally processed, they’re a bit different than a standard hot dog, and tend to have a tougher outer casing. However, they’re still tasty and will definitely satisfy your summertime hot dog craving.

Season's Choice Ginger Functional Smoothie

Up your summer smoothie game with this frozen item. Each package contains three pre-portioned pouches, which means it’s really easy to whip up a fruity, refreshing drink on a hot day. We’re partial to the ginger variety (mixed with mango, pineapple, and banana) because of ginger’s many health benefits, but the turmeric and lemongrass versions also sound delicious.

Sundae Shoppe Vanilla Ice Cream Macarons

French macarons sandwiching a generous helping of vanilla ice cream? Yes, please! This frozen dessert is only expected to be around for a few weeks, so grab a box or two while you can. The macarons, which are made with almond flour, are chewy with a slight crunch on the outside, while the vanilla ice cream is rich and velvety. We wish the flavor combo was a bit more exciting, but these macarons will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth.

Wahlburgers Fresh Gourmet Blend Angus Beef Burgers

Wahlburgers strikes again! This time, it’s with a seasonal burger option that you don’t want to miss. The burgers are typically sold four to a pack, and each patty is thick and juicy. If you add the standard burger fixins’, plus condiments of your choice, you won’t be disappointed. Plus, at $6.99 for a package of four, these are a pretty good deal.

Barissimo Cold Brew Ground Coffee

Starting Aug. 9, you can find this Barissimo Cold Brew Ground Coffee, which is available in a dark or medium roast. At $5.99 per bag, this is an efficient and inexpensive way to get your coffee fix for the rest of the summer and beyond.

These are also great to have on hand if you plan to host a late summer or early fall brunch. Find them in stores the week of Aug. 9.

Mama Cozzi's Pizza Kitchen Korean BBQ Deli Flatbread

Make your end-of-summer entertaining easier with this flavorful flatbread, which is great to serve at a barbecue or pool party. This easy and spicy appetizer takes less than 15 minutes to cook, and can even be made on the grill before you get to the burgers and dogs. Look for it starting Aug. 9.
