Zoe Ball posts a sweet tribute to her DadComic Relief

Zoe Ball shared a heartwarming tribute to her father on Monday, 23 May, on her Instagram account.

Posting a series of photographs, Zoe shared some sweet throwbacks with her Dad, television personality Johnny Ball, to mark his upcoming birthday.

Alongside the carousel of photos, Zoe wrote "happy birthday eve Dadly, my hero ♥️ 85 years young, love you 😘"

Beginning the series of photos was a black and white snap of Zoe and her father back when she was a toddler, followed by photos of family celebrations and country walks.

Johnny was a regular on children's television during the 1970s and '80s, presenting several series of science and technology programmes, and is known for being a populariser of mathematics.

Fellow presenter Gaby Roslin commented "it was such a joy seeing him today and he didn’t mention his birthday! Happy Birthday Johnny ❤️" whilst other followers praised Johnny for his career.

Zoe is currently enjoying some sunshine in Greece whilst taking a break from her BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show. The presenter announced she would be off air for three weeks to work on a new ITV talent show.

Sharing a series of photos to Instagram, Zoe wrote "working. promise..... #mammamia #ihaveadream"

It looks like Zoe is having a wonderful time in the sun, enjoying Greek food and spending time by the water.

It's likely that she's filming episodes of Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream in Greece, the highly anticipated talent show that will find the West End's new Sophie and Sky.

Zoe will host the new ITV show, with Alan Carr, Jessie Ware, Amber Riley and Samantha Barks joining as the theatrical competition's judges.
