Zendaya Makes Met Comeback After Five Year Hiatus In Maison Margiela
After a five year hiatus, Zendaya has returned to The Met Costume Institute Gala — and it was well worth the wait.
In her first major event since her back to back Dune 2 and Challengers press tours, the 26-year-old was among the first to walk the red carpet at the 'Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion' themed 2024 Met Gala, wearing Maison Margiela Artisanal by John Galliano.
She later made a surprise return to walk the red carpet a second time wearing another Galliano design — this time an archive piece from his Spring Summer 1996 Couture collection for Givenchy.

The last time the style icon (yes, at 27 she's already secured style icon status) stood on the famed, carpeted Met steps was in 2019 under the 'Camp: Notes on Fashion' theme.
The Spider-Man: No Way Home star wowed in a light up, Cinderella-inspired gown (complete with Fairy Godmother Roach) by Tommy Hilfiger that was a stand-out look on the night.
With her hair in a blonde swooping bob, Zendaya looked like a Princess for the evening.
And she isn't a one hit wonder, either. In 2018 she served up possible one of our favourite Met Gala looks ever to the theme of 'Heavenly Bodies: Fashion & The Catholic Imagination'.
Atelier Versace created a silver chainmail homage to Joan of Arc for the night, complete with train and neck and shoulder piece. The former Disney star wore her hair in a fiery and fierce bob for the look.
