Zendaya looks unreal in a white pleated tennis-themed gown for the UK Challengers premiere
The UK premiere for Zendaya's latest film, Challengers, took place in London's Leicester Square last night, which meant only one thing - the actor and her stylist Law Roach pulled yet another iconic outfit out of the bag.
If you've been keeping up with Zendaya's Challengers looks thus far, you'll know she's been taking the act of 'method dressing' very seriously, i.e. rocking up to every press event or premiere in a tennis-themed ensemble. From her recent tennis ball-green Louis Vuitton suit in Paris to Sydney's custom glittery green Loewe gown complete with a tennis player's silhouette, her latest fit is just as genius.
Stepping onto the London red carpet, Zedaya wore a sequined white custom maxi gown from Thom Browne, which gave major country club vibes. The backless dress featured a halter-style neckline, a collared bodice buttoned to the top, and was decorated all over with subtle tennis racket prints.
Zendaya's look also paid homage to the sport's unique style by including long pleats in the skirt between sections of mesh. Which, if we're focusing on every detail, probably represents the tennis net. Erm, they really have thought of everything!
To top the sporty look off, the 27-year-old wore her newly honey-blonde hair slicked back in an uber-long braid, which was finished with an oversized white bow. She also donned a pair of simple white pointed heels, and added a touch of glamour with an assortment of diamond jewellery.
While Zendaya was walking the red carpet, the Challengers Instagram account immediately posted footage of the look to their grid. Of course, this led to a slew of fans rushing to the comment section to gush over the ensemble, all of whom noted that the actor never misses.
"I'm surprised she hasn't been cast in a tennis movie before; all she does is SERVE," one fan penned, while another said: "Zendaya is the queen of fashion."
Meanwhile, a third typed: "So tennisquette," as a fourth added: "Once again… she's serving it!!"
Challengers hit cinemas on 26 April.
