Zendaya Is Fierce and Futuristic in a Shiny Cutout Robot Suit for the 'Dune: Part Two' Premiere
Zendaya has had one foot in the future with her Dune: Part Two press tour looks, but her ensemble for the film’s world premiere really stole the show. Although the ensemble has a futuristic vibe, it’s actually vintage Mugler, from the brand’s fall-winter 1995 collection. The fembot-looking bodysuit is made of shiny silver material and features clear cutouts on the breasts, midriff, arms, and legs.
For glam, she went with light, glowy makeup and slicked her hair into a chic low bun with a side part.
Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, also jetted to London, England for the event and wore his own sci-fi look, slipping into a gray hooded, draped jacket with oversized tinted sunglasses.
Z’s robotic outfit wasn’t her only look of the night. The Dune star changed into a classy, sleek little black dress with an asymmetrical cowl neckline.
At the world premiere, actress Anya Taylor-Joy made a surprise appearance, confirming that she has a role in the film. She looked ethereal wearing a flowing, pleated white gown with a plunging neckline and a transparent white veil. She contrasted the angelic look with a bright red lip.
Recently, rumors of Taylor-Joy being in Dune: Part Two started circulating after Letterboxd reportedly credited her as a member of the cast then later removed her name. Her official character has yet to be revealed, but she is said to be playing Alia Atreides, Paul Atreides’ (played by Timothée Chalamet) younger sister.
