Yolanda Hadid to mentor young models on new reality show

You might have heard that Bella, Gigi and Anwar Hadid are rather successful models.

And behind all three of them is their mother Yolanda Hadid, who’s done rather well at raising them to be so.

So now, the matriarch is to feature in a new reality show, Model Moms (it’s a working title), which according to Deadline “brings Yolanda and her expertise to the forefront as she coaches aspiring teen models to succeed on and off the catwalk”.

Hadid along with a selection of experts will put girls and their ‘momagers’ through an intensive eight-week training program centred around their physical, emotional and mental wellness in order to build a sustainable brand.

Each week, there’ll be a $5,000 (around £4,000) prize which winners will put towards their future careers.

But only one girl will win a management contract with Yolanda’s company and a potential opportunity to be represented by IMG Models in New York – the agency that represents all three Hadid siblings, Kate Moss, Ashley Graham and others.

It’ll apparently be produced by Hudsun Media for Lifetime with Michael Rourke, Sean Rankine and Yolanda Hadid among its executive producers.
