Yodeling Boy Mason Ramsey Just Released His First Single, and It's the Cutest

From The Ellen DeGeneres Show to Coachella to taking pics with the Biebs, the yodeling boy’s path to stardom has been swift. His instant celeb status might have even been the inspiration for the title of his first single (sans yodeling) that was just released today: “Famous.”

In it, 11-year-old Mason Ramsey, whose yodeling rendition of Hank Williams’s “Lovesick Blues” in an Illinois Walmart went viral last month, sings of young love in the face of fame, and that he’d rather be “famous for loving you.”

The song, which was produced and written with country band Florida Georgia Line, comes from Atlantic Records andBig Loud and makes Ramsey one of the youngest people to sign to a major Nashville label. It’s now available on iTunes and Spotify, with a performance alongside Florida Georgia Line set for the Stagecoach Festival this weekend and a second appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Friday, showcasing his Grand Ole Opry performance and his new single.

Weekend playlist = set.
