Wynne Evans' support from Strictly co-stars as news on tour breaks
Strictly Come Dancing stars have been supporting Wynne Evans after he was issued a warning over an 'inappropriate and unacceptable' remark he made towards Janette Manrara. It comes as the opera singer has reportedly been 'axed' from the Strictly live tour, according to The Sun.
On Sunday news broke that the 53-year-old was heard making an offensive lewd comment to Janette Manrara, the tour's host, when she approached a group of the celebrity dancers during the launch event on January 16. It was reported that show producers had given him a warning over the comment and emphasised there is a zero-tolerance approach towards such conduct on the tour.
He apologised and said: "My language was inappropriate and unacceptable for which I sincerely apologise." A spokesman for the Strictly live tour and BBC Studios said: "We were not previously aware of the remark and did not receive any complaints. We have made it very clear to Wynne that we do not tolerate such behaviour on the tour."

At the Strictly tour on Sunday evening in Glasgow, Head Judge Shirley Ballas complimented him, as reported by The Mirror. She said, "I tell you, Wynne has got the nicest cuddles. C'mon Wynne let's have a snuggle-bunny cuddle. I just love you so much. He is the nicest man I think I've ever met in my entire life."
On Monday, Wynne's dance partner Katya also shared a number of photos of them both to her Instagram story to mark Wynne's birthday. In a series of photos, she said, "Happy birthday to this incredible human! Thank you for the music. Thank you for the non-stop laughter."
They were also spotted enjoying a birthday walk around Liverpool along with Jones' ex-husband and Strictly pro Neil Jones.
