Worst Dressed at the 2023 Emmy Awards
At long last the 2023 Emmy Awards were held on Monday in Los Angeles, following a several months delay due to the Hollywood strikes of last year. The stars of “Succession,” “The White Lotus,” “The Bear” and “Beef” cleaned up with the trophies, and made up much of the night’s best dressed as well. Yet not all hit the mark in terms of fashion. A lot of women tried to take risks, with transparencies, volume or straight constructions — or just purely unflattering silhouettes. On men, the creative black tie is a dangerous game. There are no rules, but you have to have a very clear idea of your personal style. Otherwise, it’s someone trying to do something for the wrong reasons.
