Why you shouldn't shower daily

Many people believe that showering daily is a good hygienic practice and healthy, but according to some experts, it might not be as beneficial as we think.

A group of experts told Time Magazine that you should actually only be washing yourself twice a week.

Elaine Larson, a professor at Columbia University, said: "I think showering is mostly for aesthetic reasons. People think they're showering for hygiene or to be cleaner, but bacteriologically, that's not the case."
