Last month the world's favourite couple, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, revealed that they're expecting baby No.3, and made the announcement in the music video for John's new single Wild.

The adorable video showed the couple kissing and cuddling in various scenes around a beach house in Mexico, before ending with a clip of the pair with their hands on Chrissy's bump. But in an interview over the weekend, John revealed that the including the pregnancy announcement in the music video almost didn't happen.

Speaking to People, John explained that the idea to reveal the pregnancy in the video was actually a last minute decision from Chrissy.

"She was kind of hedging her bets, because we were early in our pregnancy," John said. "We hadn't taken all the tests to make sure everything is okay, and she said, 'Let's just shoot it.' And by the time the video would be edited, we could decide whether or not to use that scene."

John continued, "Then all the tests came back great and everything was healthy and good, so we knew it wouldn't be too early to tell people that we were pregnant by that point,"

"So by the time the edit was done we were comfortable saying to the world that we were pregnant," he said. "But at the moment, it was more like, 'Let's shoot it, and if we're able to use it, we can. And if we can't, we can't.' "

Following the release of the video Chrissy and John, who are already parents to Luna, four, and Miles, two, confirmed the pregnancy on Twitter on Instagram. Taking to her Instagram Stories and Twitter Chrissy showed off her stomach to her millions of fans.

"What is this third baby s**t," she joked as she cradled her bump. "What the... Oh my god."

We're very glad the announcement happened how it did, because it was all types of cute.
