The White Lotus series 3 has more "moments that will gag the audience" than any other season, say cast
The countdown is on to the first episode of The White Lotus series 3. And, now we've had a chance to chat to some of the new and returning cast members, we're more excited than ever to see what's to come from the latest series - which, this time round, is set in Thailand.
Speaking to Good Housekeeping about the new series, Natasha Rothwell (who plays returning character Belinda from series one), said, "It's the DNA that we've come to know and love of White Lotus, but just set on fire. It's exacerbated by the backdrop of Thailand which is so massive."
Meanwhile Michelle Monaghan, who is joining in a new role this series, explained that, "there's a lot more action in season three than we've seen before. It's big." She also revealed that the location (Thailand) will play a bigger role than in previous seasons.
"We explore the White Lotus [resort], but we go to Bangkok, we spend a lot of time with the locals. And, yeah, there's a lot of action. And I think it just lends itself to the show just feeling a lot bigger in scope this particular season," said Michelle.
She also added that, when she read the script, she was taken in by all the twists and the turns of the plot.
"I got all eight episodes, and I read them in one quick sitting," she said. "I couldn't predict anything."
The White Lotus launches on Sky and streaming service NOW on Monday 17 February.
