Where in Scotland snow may fall in November as 'unsettled' weather continues
Scotland's unpredictable winter is set to continue, as snow could be on its way to some areas of the country in a matter of weeks, despite the unusually warmer climate for this time of year.
Latest WX Charts data highlights that areas in the north of Scotland and along the north east coast could be see the white stuff on Wednesday, November 20.
Areas in the Scottish Highlands, including Ullapool and Aviemore, are forecast to be hit with snow showers later this month. It comes after previous reports from the Met Office that people should prepare for an unpredictable winter season.

Scotland is set to have a period of 'unsettled weather' at the start of this week, which comes amid bonfire night celebrations.
Past celebrations have been marred by heavy rain or fog, with latest reports indicating that Scotland, particularly Glasgow, predictions indicating 10C accompanied by a 70 percent chance of rain and gusts near 17mph.
Aberdeen is set to be even colder at around 9C. Wednesday, November 6, will see temperatures pick up again across many areas including Glasgow and Edinburgh sitting around 14C.
Long-range forecast ()
The Met Office confirmed the country will experience 'unsettled' conditions in many areas across November. Its long-range forecast for November 18 to December 2 stated: "After a settled start to November, beyond mid-month there will probably be a change towards more unsettled conditions for a time.

"This means an increased chance of periods of wet and windy weather for parts of the UK, perhaps more so in central and southern areas.
"However, there is low confidence whether unsettled, wetter weather or drier and more settled conditions will dominate by the end of November. Temperatures will probably be close to or above average overall, although some colder interludes are possible, especially in the north."
