When should you take Christmas decorations down by? Poll of the week
Yahoo UK's poll of the week lets you vote and indicate your strength of feeling on one of the week's hot topics. After 72 hours the poll closes and, each Friday, we'll publish and analyse the results, giving readers the chance to see how polarising a topic has become and if their view chimes with other Yahoo UK readers.
Now that Christmas is firmly behind us, the time to take down the tree and decorations is nigh. But exactly what date you take them down can be a very personal thing - some people might take them down immediately after Christmas, while others keep them up for longer.
There's not "correct" time to take down your decorations, but traditionally, they come down 12 nights after Christmas, known as the Twelfth Night or the Eve of Epiphany. This is considered the end of the holiday.
Officially, this will fall on 5 January or 6 January 2024, depending on whether Christmas is counted as day one or not. Some people may be tempted to leave them up for even longer, although this is widely considered "unlucky".
Whichever camp you fall into, let us know when you think you should take your Christmas decorations down.
This poll has now closed, come back on Friday to read the results and analysis.
