WH Reviews Lush Cosmetics' Plastic Free Foundation

From Women's Health

When we head Lush Cosmetics had a plastic free foundation we couldn't contain our excitement and we immediately had to try it.

Exclusively sold online, it comes in 40 shades that cater for 3 undertones.

45% Coconut oil, it is also vegan and full of lots of other natural oils like Argan and Jojoba.

But is it any good? Let us share the WH office conversation that happened during the first try of this plastic-free foundation.

"Ooh I like the cute eco box and look at the ingredients, they're so natural!"

"Hold on, is that alcohol?"

"Yeah, but it's way down on the ingredients list and probably used to kill bacteria. Kinda necessary in organic make up. "

"Right, makes sense. But it looks a bit sweaty on me. Is it the same for you?"

"That's the Coconut Oil, give it a little rub and it'll go."

"Oh yeah, lovely. It smells amazing!"

"It's lovely and soft on the skin too. It feels so hydrating."

"Great coverage! Probably better suited for a night out."

"Yeah unless you try and use a bit less. It's covered all my redness and blemishes. Not sure i'd need concealer."

"Do you think oily skins could use this as it's got so many oils in it?"

"Mmm... possibly not the one for spot-prone-skin."

"Ahh I broke it. Blimmin' 'eck, it's slippy to hold."

"No, I think that shade name seal is meant to come off so you can hold it better."

"Oh yeah, clever! Still a bit slippy though."

"Imagine if you dropped it! Gah!"

"Not for 'On The Train' application."

"Yeah, not sure how you'd clean it and I suppose you'd store it in the box?"

"I like it though."

"Me too."
