Wendy’s Vanilla Frosty Is Finally Back! And It's $1 for the Rest of the Month

A Wendy's spokesperson confirms to PEOPLE that the $1 Frosty deal has been extended through the end of September

Vanilla fans have nothing to be frosty about now that this Frosty flavor is back.

The vanilla Frosty has returned to Wendy’s after being swapped out for specialty flavors over the last several months.

The fan-favorite flavor was taken off the menu to make room for the triple berry and orange dreamsicle flavors that were available in spring and summer 2024. (The peppermint, pumpkin spice and strawberry flavors have also taken vanilla’s spot in the past.)

The beloved flavor is back for a limited time, but it's not clear just how limited its run will be. A Wendy’s spokesperson tells PEOPLE that “nothing on our menu is meant to last forever” and that they “don’t have an exact date that the vanilla Frosty will roll off of menus.”

To celebrate the returning flavor, fans can score unlimited small Frostys for $1 each through the end of September.

Wendy’s initially rolled out the dessert deal on Aug. 5 to run until Sept. 15 but the spokesperson confirmed that it has been extended a few more weeks.

Customers who are looking for a discount that is more salty than sweet can snag five days of cheeseburger deals at Wendy’s.

From Sept. 18, which is National Cheeseburger Day, through Sept. 22, customers can snag a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger for 1 cent with any purchase. The digital offer will be available to people placing orders on the Wendy’s app.

Other fast food restaurants like McDonald’s, Burger King, Dairy Queen and more have their own National Cheeseburger Day deals.

On Sept. 16, Krispy Kreme made their own flavorful announcement. The bakery chain revealed that four new and returning autumnal doughnuts have been added to the fall menu — and none of them are pumpkin-flavored.

The lineup, called the Golden Harvest Collection, features four treats. The three new sweets, Maple Buttercreme Doughnut, Oatmeal Kreme Pie Doughnut and Salted Caramel Cheesecake Doughnut, join a fan-favorite option: Spiced Apple Filled Doughnut.
