Wendy’s New Menu Item Is a Must-Have for Football Season

Football season is upon us, which means it’s time to start rounding up all your favorite game-day recipes. Whether you’re feeding a group of hungry teenagers after their Friday night game or are up early to tailgate at your alma mater, you’ll need delicious food—and a lot of it.

While you may have a list of go-to recipes that your friends and family request every year, there will be game days when you need some quick and easy options, too. This year, Wendy’s is stepping up to round out your tailgate spread so you can kick back and enjoy more of the action.

Wendy’s Saucy Nugg Party Packs Are Here To Save Game Day

Wendy’s is making it easier than ever for fans to serve up its sauced chicken nuggets to a group. Just in time for football season, the chain is adding Saucy Nugg Party Packs, which contain 45-50 nuggets, to its menu, ensuring you'll be the hero of your tailgate without setting foot in the kitchen.

Earlier this year, Wendy’s launched its Saucy Nuggs, which have become a hit with fans and even beat out KFC's saucy nuggets in our taste test. Wendy’s nuggets are made with all-white meat chicken and coated in one of the chain’s seven sauce options. Football fans can choose between Honey BBQ, Garlic Parm, Buffalo, Spicy Honey BBQ, Spicy Garlic Parm, Spicy Buffalo, and Spicy Ghost Pepper. The party packs will also include ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce.

And Wendy’s wants to make game day food prep even easier for fans. When customers order through the app, they can take advantage of $0 delivery fees on Saturdays throughout the entire college football season, from Aug. 31 - Dec. 14.

Saucy Nuggs Party Packs can be ordered in person or through the Wendy’s app beginning Aug. 27 at participating Wendy’s locations nationwide.
