Wendy’s Has $1 Frostys Through the End of Summer—Here’s How to Get One

A walk through the grocery store might convince you that it’s mid-October, even though we are still weeks away from fall. Many shelves are filling up with pumpkin pie-flavored goods, and chains like Starbucks and Popeyes have shared their upcoming fall-inspired menus.
If you’re not quite ready for the season to end, don’t worry because there are still many warm days ahead. And for those, you’ll need plenty of ice cream and cold drinks on hand. Luckily, restaurants like Wendy’s make it easy to hit the drive-thru for a quick pick-me-up. Recently, the chain offered an unbeatable deal on breakfast sandwiches, adding some joy to our morning commutes.
Now, Wendy’s is offering another deal on a popular menu item to help us beat the heat as we enter the final stretch of summer.
Wendy’s $1 Small Frosty Deal
For the next six weeks, Wendy’s fans can snag a small Chocolate Frosty or Triple Berry Frosty for just $1. The Triple Berry Frosty first appeared in early June, taking the place of the vanilla flavor on menus. The berry mix features strawberry, blackberry, and raspberry flavors offering a fruity alternative to the original chocolate flavor.

According to Wendy's press release, 70 percent of customers prefer to eat their frosty with a spoon, while the remaining 30 percent opt for a straw or crispy French fries. While dipping fries in ice cream is often controversial, Wendy's encourages fans to "Scoop, Dip, or Sip" their Frosty however they please as they enjoy the frozen treat in the final days of the warm weather season.
It can be disappointing when limited-time flavors finish their run, but the good news is that they often make room for new ones to take their place. Last year, Wendy's announced its Pumpkin Spice Frosty in early September, so it might not be long until we know if it's making a comeback. According to Wendy's Frosty FAQ section, we could see the return of the beloved Vanilla Frosty later this year.
The $1 small Frosty deal is available at participating Wendy's locations nationwide until Sept. 15, but only while supplies last, so be sure to grab yours before it's gone.
