Welsh singer to star opposite Dawn French in Marks and Spencer's huge Christmas campaign
Christmas adverts have very quickly become an essential part of the festive season, with many brands attempting to create the best one. Department store Marks and Spencer has gone all out and produced a six-part blockbuster series which will feature a famous Welsh singer.
Katherine Jenkins, who is known for her incredible classical voice, will feature in the fifth part of the advert. She will be joined by a joyful choir and the advert will first air on Tuesday, December 17. For the latest TV & Showbiz news, sign up to our newsletter.
The first part of the advert, featuring Dawn French as herself and voicing the returning M&S fairy, aired on Monday, November 4. The second part of the advert will air on Wednesday, November 13, the third part on Wednesday, November 20, the fourth part joining the fifth being aired on Tuesday, December 17 and the sixth and final part airing on Boxing Day, to advertise for New Year's Eve.

Audiences are in for a treat as Dawn and her Fairy alter-ego share the screen for the very first time, bringing a delightful mix of humour and charm to this year’s festive storytelling, and set to ‘Step into Christmas’ by Elton John. The six-part ad series captures the true spirit of Christmas, with M&S food at the heart of the celebration.
Viewers can expect to be swept away by Dawn’s witty and warm performances, as she and the Fairy sprinkle a little M&S magic across Christmas gatherings, indulgent feasts, and those unforgettable festive moments.
