Watch the sweet reunion between an Afghan refugee and her beloved dog

A refugee from Afghanistan had her dream come true when she was reunited with her beloved dog after a year apart.

Freshta Siddiqui fled the Afghan capital Kabul for Canada. Unfortunately, she was forced to leave behind her three-year-old Anatolian shepherd, Lucky, and lost hope of ever seeing her pet again.

However, with the help of SPCA International, the dog was later airlifted to North America and placed in a temporary home in Portland, Oregon, where Freshta and Lucky shared an emotional reunion.
