As well as announcing the happy news that they are expecting their second child, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have also confirmed a sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey, coming next month. But how can you watch it if you're in the UK?
Watch: Harry & Meghan to sit down with Oprah for a 90 minute interview
It's been a big week for Meghan and Harry (when isn't it?) The pair revealed Archie was going to be a big brother with a gorgeous pregnancy photoshoot, before it was announced on 15 February that predominantly Meghan, but also Harry, would be partaking in a primetime special chat with Oprah on 7 March.
CBS said in a statement issued to royal expert Omid Scobie: "[Oprah] Winfrey will speak with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from stepping into life as a royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure.
"Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family."
While Buckingham Palace have since responded to the Oprah x Meghan and Harry interview, many UK-based fans have been left wondering whether they'll be able to tune into the exclusive chat.
How to watch Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Oprah Winfrey interview in the UK
As mentioned, the interview (which has already been filmed) will run on CBS on 7th March. Titled Oprah with Meghan and Harry, the programme is a 90-minute special episode of the longstanding franchise 60 Minutes, produced by Oprah’s production company.
The programme will air on CBS from 8pm Eastern Time on Sunday 7th March - which is 1am on Monday 8th March in the United Kingdom. Understandably, that time different probably doesn't feel so appealing.
In the past, 60 Minutes interviews have been uploaded to the show’s YouTube channel within 24 hours of airing, which many are hoping will be the case this time, though there's been no solid confirmation as of yet.
With the couple’s huge ongoing deal with Netflix, there's a chance the interview could go straight onto the streaming platform.
Metro say CBS is also streaming the interview on Hulu and YouTube in the US, so there may well be a bidding war for the rights in the UK before 7th March. We might also expect the show to air on NowTV / Sky just a few days later, which is exactly what happened with the Framing Britney Spears documentary.
Essentially, there's sadly no confirmation that the documentary will be aired in the UK just yet. Having said that, there's no doubt a bidding war going on behind the scenes for the rights to air the show, and we'll update this article with news as and when it comes.
