Watch law school grad’s mom, dad and brother anxiously wait with her for bar exam results
Nineteen years of education and three grueling months of studying led to one moment of truth for a law school graduate.
After graduating from the University of Miami School of Law, 26-year-old Monica Feldman was one exam away from officially becoming an attorney.
“Studying for the bar exam was the most challenging experience of my life,” said Monica. “The volume of information to absorb was daunting and some days felt like an uphill battle.”
For 12 weeks, Monica immersed herself in preparation, studying day and night. Yet, she was uncertain of the outcome when she completed the test and left the Tampa Convention Center.
“The waiting period afterward was very difficult,” she said. “I was mentally preparing myself for any result.”
The day when her test result came out, Monica gathered with her parents and brother, huddled around her laptop. Their support, she said, was invaluable: ”Having them there with me for this moment made it even more special.”
As the screen loaded, everyone held their breath.
