On a recent episode of ITV's quiz show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire a contestant accidentally revealed a secret about how the show is made while talking to host Jeremy Clarkson.

JEREMY CLARKSON: Right, would you like to set your safety net at 8,000 pounds?
MARIA KING: No, thank you.
[WARNING BELL]
Ah, right, you know what that means?
MARIA KING: I have to go and get changed.
JEREMY CLARKSON: Yeah.
[LAUGHTER]
MARIA KING: I'm not supposed to say that, am I? [LAUGHS]
JEREMY CLARKSON: That's exactly-- that's exactly what it means.
[LAUGHTER]
And then-- and then, because you're absolutely right, I'll be seeing you in about an hour's time. But as far as the viewers are concerned, you're going home, you're going to be panicking-- oh no-- and then we'll see you next week. So you're absolutely right, that is the end of the show.
