Vinyl evening a success as 'bustling turnout' enjoys classic tunes
A vinyl evening has been lauded as a strong success as music, wine and food was enjoyed by a "bustling turnout".
Summertown Wine Bar joined forces with Sevenoaks Sound and Vision, a Hi-Fi retailer, to host a night of records and high-fidelity sound on April 20.
It aimed to bring together music fans and wine experts for a night out.
Attendees enjoyed a blend of tunes, drinks, and food, with music enthusiasts gathering to revel in the classic songs.
There were a selection of vinyl albums by legendary bands like The Rolling Stones and The Beatles.
Visitors heard Exile on Main Street and Beggars Banquet as well as Revolver and Abbey Road.
Emily Robotham, manager of Summertown Wine Bar, said: "We were thrilled to see such enthusiastic participation from the community.
"The combination of exceptional music, fine wines, champagne, and tartes flambees created an unforgettable atmosphere."
Geraint Evans, manager of Sevenoaks Sound and Vision, added: "It was a pleasure collaborating with Summertown Wine Bar to celebrate the enduring appeal of vinyl and high-fidelity audio.

The evening's music was enjoyed through Naim New Classic 200 series, Focal Kanta No. 2 Speakers, and the Pro-Ject X2 B turntable with a Pro-Ject DS3 B phono box, all provided by Sevenoaks Sound and Vision.
