Vigo Invasive Management announces upcoming programs
Apr. 3—The Vigo Invasives Management group will host two programs in April.
From 6 to 7 p.m. April 11, "AlterNATIVES to Invasives in Landscaping" will be hosted at the Vigo County Public Library in meeting room B.
The program is open to all ages and no registration is required.
It will focus on learning how and what to replace invasive plants in landscaping with.
For the other program, Vigo Invasives Management is partnering with the Vigo County Parks and Recreation Department to host a plant ID hike.
The hike will take place from 1 to 2:30 p.m. April 14 in Prairie Creek Park.
Participants will meet at the Elliott Woods parking area located at 3230 W. French Drive.
