Yummy dessert recipes

Either dessert can be made in a cast iron skillet or aluminum tin.

To make s’mores dip:

  1. Crush up graham crackers and cover the bottom of an aluminum pie tin.

  2. Add a layer of chocolate.

  3. Add a layer of marshmallows.

  4. Cook over indirect heat with the grill lid closed. To do this, heat one side of the grill and place the tin on the other.

  5. Keep the temperature around 350ºF.

  6. Occasionally check the dip to make sure it cooks evenly. You may need to rotate it throughout the cooking.

  7. It’s ready when the chocolate is melted and the marshmallows are toasted.

  8. Use graham crackers to dip.

  9. Enjoy!

To make a skillet cookie:

  1. Preheat your propane grill by turning on the outer burners and leaving the middle ones off.

  2. Break off pieces of homemade or store-bought cookie dough and fill the skillet.

  3. Put the skillet on the grill over the unheated burners and let it cook over indirect heat with the lid closed.
