Victoria Beckham almost leaked news of Brooklyn's engagement
21-year-old Brooklyn Beckham announced news of his engagement to Nicola Peltz over the weekend, revealing he had proposed two weeks earlier.
David and Victoria Beckham have already publicly shown their support and are clearly overwhelmed with happiness that their eldest is tying the knot, but did the Spice Girl almost leak the news first?
On Saturday, Brooklyn shared the happy news that he and 25-year-old Nicola were going to get married. Sharing a photo of the pair hugging in a field, he wrote, "Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day ❤️ I love you baby xx"

Victoria has since regrammed the photo and added a caption of her own - "The MOST exciting news!! We could not be happier that @brooklynbeckham and @nicolaannepeltz are getting married! Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness 🙏🏻We all love you both so much x @davidbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven 💕"
But now, fans think VB almost let the cat out of the bag with an Instagram Story a week ago, in which she sneakily hid Nicola's engagement ring with an emoji.
Brooklyn's mum shared a video of the family in their Cotswold home, featuring her with David, Brooklyn, Cruz, Romeo, Harper and Nicola all clapping for the NHS on their 72nd anniversary.
And due to a big red love heart craftily positioned over Nicola's hand, fans were unable to see her huge engagement ring. Thank goodness there wasn't a leak, eh?!
David also took to Instagram to share his support for the engagement. "Congratulations to these two beautiful people ♥️" he wrote to his 63million followers. "As they begin this exciting journey together we are so so happy for you guys @brooklynbeckham @nicolaannepeltz @victoriabeckham ♥️"
