Vicky McClure has marked her first wedding anniversary with husband Jonny Owen.

The Line of Duty star tied the knot to the Welsh producer and actor last August, and has now shared a series of pictures to mark one year, including one from the big day as well as their engagement.

"Happy 1st Anniversary to us @jonathanowen71," McClure wrote. "I loved our day so much, and every day with you more!"

Owen also posted a few pictures on his own account to mark the occasion, writing: "Happy 1st Wedding anniversary love. Our first and most recent photos (in my phone anyway). Well done and Awf Wah xxx."

Many followers shared their well wishes, with author Donna Ashworth writing: "Happy anniversary! Love you two."

"Happy Anniversary!" added fellow writer Caroline Hirons, while presenter Paddy McGuinness said: "Beautiful."

McClure confirmed her marriage last summer in an Instagram post, writing at the time: "Tied up in Notts!!! Best. Day. Ever!!!!!"

During the ceremony, the actor actually called up Owen's daughter Katie on the latter's BBC Radio Wales show after she had to leave early to present her show.

Speaking on air from her nuptials, McClure said: "We're married! We’ve had the most amazing special day and we're gutted you had to go back but we're so proud of you. You're missing lots of dancing, Katie, but we can do that again."

Also in attendance were Line of Duty co-stars Adrian Dunbar and Martin Compston, while McClure's Our Dementia Choir performed.

Compston shared his own post from the "incredible" big day, adding: "First dance with the dementia choir was just beautiful and says everything about the two of them sharing their moment with the dementia team, a few shandies were had afterwards."
