Very launches Woolworths' Pic & Mix sweet jars just in time for Christmas

Cast your mind back to the days when you used to overload your paper bag with all the sweets in Woolworths’ Pick n Mix you could ever desire - and potentially popping an odd Cola Bottle in your mouth when the dial on the scales tipped slightly over what your pocket money could afford.
The popular high street chain we knew and loved was officially dissolved by 2015, after announcing closures in 2008, and left us lacking that sugar fix – until now.
Though the chain - often nicknamed Woolies - may not be returning, Very has created jars of our favourite Woolworths 'pic & mix' sweets, and it’s perfect timing with Christmas just around the corner.
Very is selling four jars of the nation’s most-loved sweets, one of which includes a medley of the nostalgic Black Jacks, Fruit Salad chews, Dolly mixture, Jelly Snakes, Liquorice Allsorts and more.
But those who prefer to stick to their favourite treat can buy jars of sweets filled to the brim with either Jelly Snakes, Liquorice Allsorts or Dolly Mixtures.
Each jar contains 90g of sweets inside, and retail for £15.99 online.
Plus, Very will donate all profits, or at least 24% of the purchase price, from the sale of each Woolworths Pic n Mix jar to Coram Beanstalk, which is a charity that aims to recruit and train volunteers to provide reading support to children in the UK.
