Veronica Beard’s Spring 2025 ‘It’ Girl Wants Casual Luxe
What does the Veronica Beard girl want for spring? Casual luxe, according to founders Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard.
Quiet luxury has been at the forefront for several seasons, but the duo, and their customers, are ready to move on. “I think it is when you can wear something that is super luxurious, but just make it like feel very effortless,” Swanson Beard said of the what qualifies as casual luxe.
Textures, prints and delicious denim details were all parts of the spring assortment mix using lightweight fabrications. Suits were loose, a few with a short-sleeve blazer, or a short. A youthful polished way to evolve a classic for their “It” girl and back again was vests. “It’s those girls that make you look twice,” Miele Beard said. “She could be in Saint Tropez, she could be in L.A., she could be in New York.”

Compact knits in golden hues, a thin stripe on a pant, button-up combos, gold leather separates, wide-leg denim with mixed wash side panels, a long-sleeve paisley print silk maxidress were standouts — top them off with a bedazzled barn coat to add a touch of ease and cool. Accessories are growing, with the brand launching handbags at the beginning of the year. They now have a mix of mini versions. The category is getting serious for the duo, in step with their popular footwear, where sneakers are a “huge thing for us,” Miele Beard said, pointing to a new style to meet the demand.
Their “It” girl is a girl on the go, but with fun detail and modern polish.
