Danielle Vasinova had a brush with death when she battled Covid, revealing that for three nerve-wracking minutes she 'died'. The 42 year old star of the Yellowstone spin-off 1923 initially thought she had the flu back in December 2019, but it turned out to be a life-threatening encounter with the virus.

She recounted her near-death experience to People: "On Dec. 12, 2019, I died for three minutes... I didn't see the light or a tunnel but they say it can come back to you in flashbacks."

"I did, however, start to see a lot of angel numbers everywhere. I would see sequences like 5555, 7777."

The actress felt a mysterious reassurance: "It was bizarre, but something was telling me, 'There's something more for you. You weren't meant to go just yet. You're meant to do something else.'" Prior to the harrowing incident, Danielle was so weak she couldn’t move and eventually found herself rushed to the emergency room by her uncle.

She described the drama of her hospitalisation: "He said people were running around me, and a tiny girl jumped on top of my chest and began pumping, pumping, pumping." And then he saw my heartbeat on the monitor just go. Flatlined."

A relentless ER nurse named Ruby desperately worked to revive Danielle, finally detecting a pulse, after which the actress was whisked away to ICU and placed in an induced coma. Danielle reflected on the severity of her condition: "I had complete organ failure."

"I went from young and healthy to this infection that completely took over my body all of a sudden. It just came on, and it just rocked my world."

The Emmy award-nominated actress shared how the experience transformed her, revealing to fans: "It's hard to even describe how I feel, but I'm so much more connected."

She reflected on the profound impact it had, saying, "This felt like the turning point in my life. The death, and the rebirth. I know to take nothing for granted." Emphasising the value of life, Danielle added, "Life is so precious and it is such a gift."

She spoke about her purpose, stating, "We're here to do some good in the world, to be of service, and to be forever grateful."

In a heartwarming gesture of gratitude, after being saved, Danielle returned to the hospital to embrace Ruby, the woman whose actions she credits with saving her life. She presented Ruby with a bracelet adorned with a ruby stone, as a heartfelt thank you.
