Unwell MAFS star is spotted 'slumped over' as medics rush over on BAFTAs red carpet
There was a bit of drama at the BAFTA TV Awards when medics had to rush to assist a Married At First Sight UK star who was struggling with the heat.
Ella Morgan, who shot to fame on the E4 show last year, was seen slumping over at the end of the red carpet in her stunning black corset dress, causing concern among her co-stars.
The Sunday afternoon temperatures had soared to 26 degrees Celsius, which seemed to have taken a toll on the stars as photos circulated showing Ella conversing with a medic as she took a breather near the railing at London's Royal Festival Hall. She was spotted filling out a form held by the medic and appeared to be recovering after taking a much-needed rest in the shade.
A witness at the festival hall revealed to The Sun: "The cast and crew from Channel 4 grabbed hold of her and helped her stay on her feet before it was decided to call in the medics," adding that "An area was cleared at the end and Bafta crews sent medics to assess Ella."
They further added: "The crew rallied around her to create shade from the sun while she was being evaluated", reports the Mirror.
Ella gained popularity when she featured in the previous series of Married At First Sight UK. Initially paired with Nathanial Valentino, she eventually fell for JJ Slater, who was in a different marriage.
The popular series has seen its fair share of drama, with Ella and JJ deciding to stay just friends after the final vows. Bravely opening up on social media last month, Ella, who is a transgender star, gave her fans a detailed insight into her journey through various cosmetic procedures.
Sharing an image where she's sporting a deep purple eye tone along with a nose splint, she laid bare all the surgical experiences she's had. Captioning this striking photo, she wrote: "I've had botox and fillers obvs, but these are the surgical procedures and before anyone pops off, I have transitioned, so there was a lot I wanted to change on the outside."
Elaborating further, Ella mentioned "GRS - gender reassignment surgery, vaginoplasty (the downstairs area basically), two boob jobs, nose job, lip lift, hairline lowering, brow bone and forehead shave, brow lift, temple implant, Adam's apple shave, mole removal, fat injected into cheek and under eyes."
