As we welcome Anna back to our screens, here's everything you need to know about the actress away from the cameras...

Anna has won two BAFTAs, one for her role in Bleak House in 2006, and another for Poppy Shakespeare in 2009. You may recognise her from shows such as Line of Duty, The Bletchley Circle and And Then There Were None, among many others.
She has first starred in Line of Duty back in 2019. Speaking of her return, she said: "Pat’s back, I can’t remember what she’s doing there, nor would I be allowed to blab, but suffice to say she’s got some new clobber and she’s ready to bust some balls.”
Anna was previously married to South African film director Roger Michell, whom she met when he cast her in a National Theatre production. He was 20 years her senior and divorced with two children, however she pursued him despite the fact he was not initially interested. She told You Magazine: “I groomed him to fall in love with me.”
The couple share two daughters together, Maggie and Nancy, however they split in 2020. Speaking to You, Anna explained: "But you know we aren’t together any more. Our marriage has ended and we’ve been separated for quite some time. I haven’t really spoken about it because it isn’t fair on all the people involved. There are four children to think about. It’s taken an enormous amount of time, but we are all getting through it in a healthy way."
Anna lives in a gorgeous home alongside her two daughters and adorable pet pooch. The star occasionally gives her Instagram followers a glimpse into her traditional-looking home complete with beautiful carpets and fabrics.
