“I love seeing people responding to my work after all these years. Especially Virgin Suicides and Marie Antoinette which weren’t seen much when they came out," Coppola tells BAZAAR of the new collection. "I’m happy that they seem to be inspiring another generation and living on! It’s always nice to feel connected to others [in that way]."
Coppola, known for her smart personal aesthetic in addition to her cult-classic-filled film catalogue, isn't afraid to sport the collection in her own way, too.
"I wear mine with a Chanel jacket or cardigan and love seeing them layered over a long sleeve striped t-shirt," she adds. "Or however anyone feels like! I love seeing how different people wear them.”
