Ty Masterpool in for 250SX West, Starting Saturday at San Diego

During last weekend's Anaheim 1 season opener, Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Levi Kitchen came into the 250SX West Championship under the weather and did not participate in Press Day. After Saturday's Free Practice session, which saw Kitchen out on track, the news broke that he would not be racing that night. The team announced he would move to the 250SX East region starting February 8th in Tampa for its opening round.

Rumors swirled the next few days, and we thought young Drew Adams would fill his spot moving forward and make his pro-debut.

We have official confirmation that Ty Masterpool will be lining up this weekend in San Diego for his season debut to give the team their second rider for the 250SX West series alongside Garrett Marchbanks. Masterpools' first showing with the team in Supercross will start earlier than anticipated, as he was to race in the 250SX East Regional Championship initially.
