Remember the total solar eclipse last week when a certain President was photographed appearing to look directly into the sun despite warnings it could damage your eyes?

No doubt Donald Trump believed expert scientific advice against staring directly into the sun was 'fake news', but it appears he might already be showing signs of eclipse blindness.

During a press conference with Finnish President Sauli Niinistö on Monday, Trump confused two blonde, female Finnish journalists who were sitting next to each other.

Rudely telling Niinistö to take one last question from one of the journalists in the audience, Trump asked the president why he was seemingly picking the same female reporter from earlier in the news conference.

He asked: 'Again? You're going to give her the same one?'

'No, she is not the same lady,' Niinistö answered. 'They are sitting side by side.'

'We have a lot of blonde women in Finland,' the journalist added as she posed her question.

For someone who is so good at objectifying women (who can forget that phone call with the Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar earlier this year when he stopped the conversation to compliment a reporter's 'nice smile'), it's hardly surprising he wasn't able to tell two women apart.

But I guess in Trump's world, all women look the same.

Right, Don?
