We tried Pringles' Doner Kebab and Pulled Pork Burger flavours
Ahead of a football filled summer, Pringles has brought back two popular flavours, loved by footie fans, for a limited time only. Now, Pulled Pork Burger sounds like a flavour we can get behind, but we weren't so sure about Doner Kebab...
So our expert food and drink tester Mel Giandzi gave both a try, to see exactly what the meaty crisps taste like, and whether their take-away flavours translate into great crisps.
She told us: "Pringles have brought back the flavours for a limited time and I was eager to see why.
"A clear favourite of the two for me was the Pulled Pork Burger, which has a slightly sweet BBQ sauce tang, followed by a smoky, meat pulled pork flavour. There's so much seasoning on each crisp and it might just be my new favourite flavour."
But what about the intriguing Doner Kebab flavour? Well it faired pretty well too, as long as you're a spice lover.
With Mel continuing: "Don’t get me wrong, the Doner Kebab flavour is also delicious and has a lovely cumin and paprika flavour, but if you’re not a lover of spice, the kick of heat from the cayenne and black pepper does build the more you eat them."
It's safe to say you don't need to be afraid of trying these quirky flavours.
Arriving in shops through June, the two limited edition flavours are making a comeback to celebrate the brand’s football campaign, aiming to keep the fun in football and teaming up with football freestyler Lia Lewis to invent a new signature trick with the Pringles can and encouraging fans to give it a try.
We'll leave the can kicking to the kids, but we'll be popping both flavours in the trolley.
