Caroline Hirons knows her stuff when it comes to skincare, which is why when she recommends something we know we're in for a treat.

The latest product she's put the Hirons stamp of approval on is the brand new Isle of Paradise Sunny Serum, telling her 737k Instagram followers they 'absolutely need' the bronzing serum.

The serum is suitable for all skin types can be used alone for makeup free days, as a primer under makeup, as a body glow and as a subtle highlighter. Caroline Hirons praised the product for giving an 'immediate healthy glow, no glitter, because we’re not 10 and not at Coachella'.

When we say the coverage is subtle we really mean it, if you're thinking this is going to be a similar finish to the cult-favourite Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter, you're going to be disappointed. However, if you're after something that's going to give you a truly natural, lightly radiant finish then you will love this serum.

In the before and after below (on freshly cleansed and moisturised skin), you can see the difference is far from stark. It adds a light wash of colour and puts a little bit of life into my pasty complexion, neutralises my redness and makes my skin tone look a touch more even.

The serum can also be used below makeup, and in the photo below I've added concealer, mascara, liquid blush and some tinted lip gloss for a natural 'your skin but better' finish that I'd wear for days I want a more natural look.
