How Travis Kelce Reacted to Taylor Swift Changing Lyrics in ‘Karma’ to Be About Him
During her Saturday night show in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Taylor Swift surprised her new boyfriend Travis Kelce by changing the lyrics to her song “Karma” to reference him. It seems like she definitely thinks he is a reward from the universe. Kelce is a tight end for the NFL on the Kansas City Chiefs and for the song, Swift sang, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.”
Kelce was filmed reacting by a concertgoer to the romantic shout out, in a video showing him smiling broadly, then putting his hands over his face. He was accompanied by Swift's dad Scott Kingsley Swift in the VIP section, and the proud father tapped him on the shoulder and then lifted his arms in acknowledgment. Kelce raised his hands and fans cheered.

A few moments later, Kelce was seen in another clip blowing Swift a kiss and waving to her on stage. He also looks like he's shaking his head in astonishment. As the concert continued, Kelce was seen with a sign reading, “WE WILL STAY,” when Swift sang her song “The Archer.”
That song's lyrics go, “I've been the archer / I've been the prey / Who could ever leave me, darling? / But who could stay?”
Later in a video, he could be seen dancing along to “Blank Space,” and during yet another sweet moment, he was filmed making a heart sign with his hands. Kelce is clearly a huge fan of Swift's discography, but she's a big fan of him—at the end of her show, she ran up to Kelce to share a kiss.
During her show, Swift commented on her Grammy nominations, telling the crowd, “Had sort of a crazy day yesterday, because I started my morning by getting the extraordinary news that because of you and because of the way you have supported my album Midnights, it got nominated for six Grammys.”
It's been a big week.
