An iconic winner of The Traitors has revealed that they still live in a council flat with their parents despite leaving the show £95,000 richer. Harry Clark, who won series two of the show earlier this year, has opened up about living at home with his parents due to the costs involved in buying a property.

The 23 year old, walked home with the £95,000 prize pot back in January after stealing the entire jackpot from fellow contestant Mollie Pearce in a dramatic final. However, 10 months on since his win, Harry has said that he’s “not a multi-millionaire splashing out” with his cash.

“Back in March I was on the red carpet at the Brits and saw Dua Lipa. And then I got a taxi home to the council house in Slough, where I grew up with my parents and five siblings. In May I went to a Make-A-Wish Ball at the Savoy – I got driven there in a car which had a TV screen in the back. And then I came home and slept in my bunk bed,” he wrote in a piece for the i.

He added: “You might think it sounds odd that aged 23 I’m glad I’ve moved back in with my parents this year. But the way I see it, it’s a nice contrast with the decadent experiences I often get since winning the second series of The Traitors in January this year.”

However Harry, who is dating CBBC presenter Anna Maynard, explained that he doesn’t care “what anyone else thinks” about his setup. The Traitors star even added that he was hoping that one day he’d be able to buy the property off of his beloved parents, who have called it their home for more than two decades, though in the meantime he’s saving up for his own place.

“And by saving up, I hope it won’t be too long until I have a place of my own. I know it might sound unusual to love living at home. But from the time I joined the Army at 16, I moved away from them Monday to Friday. I’m so conscious my parents won’t always be around – why rush to get away from them?” he said.
