TOWIE's Mark Wright Reacts to Love Island Star Luca's 'Punching' Comment
The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright has reacted to Love Island star Luca Bish’s "punching" remark from Monday's (July 25) episode of the popular reality show.
Luca, who is currently paired up with Gemma Owen in the villa, brought up Mark and his wife Michelle Keegan, asking Adam Collard and Paige Thorne whether they thought Mark was "good-looking".
The contestant then said he didn't think Mark was "all that", before saying the TOWIE star was "punching big-time" with Michelle.
Wright has since responded to those comments on Twitter, posting a picture of him in bed, appearing to have just woken up and writing, “8:30am in Sydney…. minding my own business (literally sleeping) Waking up like…. What did I do? #luca"
Meanwhile, Luca received an unexpected message from Australian rocker Nick Cave earlier this week.
Cave was asked a question about the main difference between him and his wife by a fan on his blog, when he revealed his connection to Luca's family that goes way back.
"At the moment, the defining difference between Susie and me is that she watches Love Island, and I don't," Cave wrote. "Susie watches Love Island because we know one of the contestants, Luca. Luca was a school friend of our twins, Arthur and Earl."
He added that Luca's family was there to support them when their son Arthur passed away in 2015, saying that Luca's parents are "as good as people get" and that he, too, is cheering for the Islander to win.
