Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Danny Jansen and wife Alexis announce second baby on the way
The couple already share one-year-old son, Miles, whom they welcomed last October.

On Sunday, the Toronto Blue Jays pitcher and wife Alexis shared a heartwarming Instagram post announcing news that they're growing their family. The couple shared a series of candid outdoor photos featuring their one-year-old son, Miles.
The carousel first shows Miles posing with a framed ultrasound photo while wearing a green plaid jacket, brown pants and a white Carhartt toque. That's followed by two family photos including Danny and Alexis — clad in matching beige sweaters — displaying the ultrasound photo and a sign that reads "baby Jansen coming July 2024."
The pair poked fun at their son's excitement about welcoming another member of their family in the caption, writing, "Swipe to see how Miles really feels about becoming a big brother. Baby Jano number two coming this July."
In the comments, fans applauded the couple's announcement and congratulated them on their latest milestone.
"Omg! Congratulations! Miles will be the sweetest big brother," an Instagram user commented.
"Yay! This is so exciting," another wrote.
"So excited for you both and Miles!" a fan echoed.

Alexis and Danny announced their engagement in May 2020 before tying the knot in January 2022.
Danny took to Instagram shortly after their nuptials with a carousel of wedding photos and a heartwarming caption dedicated to his new wife. In the photos, Alexis donned a satin and lace sleeveless wedding gown with a V-neckline, while her bridesmaids wore matching baby blue dresses. Danny and the groomsmen opted for grey suits and blue ties.
"What an incredible way to start 2022. I am so grateful I get to spend the rest of my life with you and grow together! [Alexis], I love you so much," he captioned the post.
The pair welcomed their first child later that year in October. Danny announced Miles's arrival with another candid Instagram post including photos of himself and Alexis cradling their newborn at the hospital.
"Welcome to the world, my boy! Miles Joseph Jansen joined us on 10/30/22 at 12:03 a.m.," he penned. "We love you so much and are so excited for what's to come. Momma and Miles are doing great!"
