Topshop has launched four new styles of jeans, and the future is looking very bright my friends. Very bright indeed.

Just the other day we introduced you to the Editor jeans, but now there's more! The high street store that made us fall in love with Joni and Jamie has gone one better with three more pairs; the Balloon Boyfriend, Slim Wide and Dad.

The Balloon Boyfriend jeans are described as a 'loose, slouchy fit' with a tapered leg, while the Slim Wide have a high waist (yay). The Dad style have a mid-rise waist with a 'loose straight fit through the leg' - which essentially makes them a slightly looser version of the Mom jeans we all know and love. Finally, the Editors are high-rise, straight leg styles that will go with everything in your wardrobe.

We love them all.

Anthony Cuthbertson, Design Director for the brand, said:

"Selling a pair of jeans every five seconds globally, Topshop denim forms the basis of women’s wardrobes all over the world. Though the Jamie continues to take the top spot, we are excited to see our customers’ reactions to our four new fits."

He also added that Topshop is experimenting with 80s acid wash designs for this season, and we can expect plenty of rip detailing - both on the knees and the hems.

It's unusual for Topshop to launch any new jeans styles, let alone four new pairs - so we know that these must have been in the works for some time. Which means that they'll be very good.

Which means you'll find me at Topshop for the foreseeable.
